A changing climate has multiple impacts on our health and some population groups will be more affected by climate change than others. The climate change indicators include the following:

  • health effects: notifications of giardiasis, salmonellosis, and cryptosporidiosis
  • vulnerable population groups: young children, older adults, New Zealand Index of Deprivation, ethnicity
